Daffodils primary offers a broad, balanced and innovative Ugandan curriculum which is academically challenging and focuses on the development of fundamental skills.

The school curriculum is a unique blend of both the national and international curriculum. All children are exposed to different types of strategies in teaching and learning to enable them enhance their learning.

The school’s philosophy of a child-centered, hands on approach, is reflected in all aspects of the curriculum and projects carried out by both children and teachers

The computer laboratory is well stocked with children given a one to one help. Apart from having regular ICT classes, children are encouraged to use the laboratory in their own free time working on various projects and power point presentations.

 

The school boasts of a beautiful, well stocked library. The children are exposed to a variety of both fiction and non-fiction reading materials.

Apart from having special library sessions at school, all children are encouraged to borrow books, review and illustrate them. The library organises book weeks, story writing and may such sessions to inculcate a reading culture within the young ones.

As part of our study programme, the students have also experienced various trips to farms, lakes, the zoo, water falls, game parks and much more. These trips have been a memorable experience to both the students and their teachers.

Several after school optional clubs take place in the afternoons to further enhance an all inclusive education. Scouting, swimming, piano, dance, ICT, art, cricket, football, ballet, dance, indoor games, cookery, knitting and nature clubs are some of the clubs that take place in the afternoons spread across the week.

Students have shown great skills in their choice of clubs after school. All these have certainly enabled our students to be very confident and creative.
