With a humble beginning of only 6 students, Daffodils Education Services Ltd was founded in 1999 with its first Kindergarten branch in Bukoto. Within a short time, demand outmatched supply and the need for a second Kindergarten branch arose.
In January of 2002, Daffodils extended to Naguru hill with the establishment of a second Kindergarten. Naguru, a now prominent suburb, was not without difficulty two decades ago: poor roads and load shedding posed great challenges when it came to educating the future of our country. However, Daffodils has always taken pride in the care, love, and friendship from the Daffodils parents and community – and it is this support that has helped us overcome these challenges.
The Daffodils vision continued to grow over time, and the need for child-centred primary education drove the foundation of the first Daffodils Primary School. Inaugurated in 2009, the Daffodils Primary School is located on Kololo hill overlooking greater Kampala. The aim for the Primary School has been to give the children of Kampala an avenue to go into Primary Education in a setting where they continue to be the centre of their education.
In 2014, Daffodils expanded its reach to Nakasero with the aim to increase accessibility to state-of-the-art educational facilities.
Daffodils is honoured to have served the community for over twenty years, and with love and support, we hope to continue to provide quality education to the children of Uganda.
